Google Handwrite

If you are a Google fan and a smartphone user you may enjoy trying out Google's new search gimmic 'Handwrite'.
Here is the scenario: You have just got a HTC Explorer for Christmas which has a rather small touch-screen of only 3.2". The whole phone works great until you want to search something into Google. Since it is Christmas, you have been over eating so your plump fingers are too big for the tiny keyboard at the bottom of the screen. This is where Google Handwrite comes in.
From the mobile version of you can simply write words or letters on the screen. Just make the shape of the letter or word and Google will recognise it and search it for you.
This feature isn't the most practical thing in the world. In fact I can't see any sensible reason why people would want to use this apart from showing off to their friends.
